Blue Heron II is a recent addition to my new body of work. It is one of several that represents a new direction in my work. Using mixed media composed of acrylic dyes, acrylic gold paint and multiple glazes of oil paint on archival paper, this poetic painting is adhered to gallery wrapped linen canvas with a 1 1/2” border all around and requires no frame as the canvas itself creates the frame.
