Explore the painting frenzy that has swept the country. Plein Air (pronounced "plen" air), is the practice of painting in the great outdoors. While Van Gogh made the practice famous, artists throughout the ages have participated in this exciting pursuit. 

But painting outside can be daunting for the beginner and even the experienced studio painter. This workshop will introduce the student to the basic principles of plein air painting.
